 WELCOME DAWNOHOLICS!
I am so glad to be part of this community. When we wrote our Dawn doll book over 7 years ago I thought I was one of a few who remembered my tiny childhood friend. I have never been so glad to be wrong.
I am always interested in hearing more about Dawn variations and especially anything that I missed in the book. We have the 2001 update (yellow cover)available right now a www.dawndollsplus.com and I am collecting more information for the next update that is years off.
We just completed the first ever identification and price guide to Dawn's British relative, Pippa. When Topper Toys went suddenly out of business in 1971, many of Dawn's outfits and even a body mold were transformed into Pippa by Palitoy from 1972-1980. Pippa has over 200 outfits and some wonderful accessories that are perfect for Dawn.
We started self publishing with the first Dawn book and will do that for all of our books. This means that they are only available from us and you will not find them on book store shelves. Visit us at www.dawndollsplus.com for more information.
I am also working on another identification and price guide for fashion dolls of the 1970s. Please check my want list. I can use all the help I can get. I am especially interested in the European Daisy and getting the last Mego Cher outfits.
