Before and After
A page dedicated to the "fixer" in all of us

Everybody has those "fixer-uppers": Clothes that are wrecked to some degree (dirty, missing buttons, missing trim, torn or "total makeover needed here"). This page has some of my own fixer-uppers and the results. I rarely throw anything away, as you can see. You never know when you may need that old belt or bit of chain...

Voila!

Clic the pic for Angie modeling the "after."

Here comes the bride!

My best-friend-since-second-grade Diane gave Dawn
a haircut and some blush (okay, I think she was five).
She was also suffering from thinning hair plugs
(Dawn, not Diane). Diane very generously gave her
to me and I fixed 'er up (Dawn, not Diane). Clic on
the pic to see her now (Dawn, not Diane, but I could
get a pic if you really wanted one).

Believe it or not...Ready? One, two, three, faux...

A not-very-glittery All That Glitters and a sad faux fur coat.
Clic either pic for the "after" effect. Denise, you look marvelous!

If you can't clean it - dye it!

Clic the pic to see the "antique" version of this dress

I've got hair!

Little Miss Mohawk. Click the pic for her new hair.
Reroot done by me with hair from a HTT Dawn long fall.
Ogilve home perm also done by me.
Clic here for front view of the reroot!

This wedding dress was from Heidi. The skirt and sleeves were too long for Dawn, but it fit her otherwise. The bow on the front had been glued on. Clic the pic for the close-up "after" shot of Dawn wearing the dress. The veil was from Heidi, too. Thanks, Heidi! Clic here for full-view pic!

And the hip bone's connected to the leg bone and...

Here is Angie like I bought her. Clic the pic to see her all back together and sporting an outfit made by moi. The t-neck is from Mad About Plaid, I made the skirt, gold chain from a knockoff Town 'n' Tailored and knockoff boots. So cute!

Ooooh. La. La.
Same as oooh-la-la

Glori had had her glory days. Clic the pic to see her with added hair plugs, lashes, eyeliner and lipstick. She is wearing the bottoms to an all-too-familiar Rockflower jumpsuit. I made the top to match. Boots take care of that pesky missing foot problem!
