 Dawn arrived in Portland, Oregon at Christine's just in time for a drive with the girls to look at a house. After checking it out an offer was made and accepted! Yeah! A house of their own!  After all the house hunting Dawn was famished so all her new buds put together an impromptu BarbieQ! Dawn made a real pig of herself....hope she wasn't a vegetarian before her travels!!!    Everybody ate so much they couldn't even move! Tums were served as after dinner mints. Sometimes that B****e meat comes back at ya!   Christine took me to Pittock Mansion. WoW what a great house! It sits high up in the west hills overlooking the downtown and on a clear day you can see Mt.Hood. Both the house and grounds are breathtaking, and the rhododendrons were in full bloom!! I felt blessed to hang with Christine since it was her 35th birthday and the first time away from all 3 of her kids. She told me she couldn't have had a better birthday than hanging with me and getting to see some beautiful sights that in the rush of everyday life get taken for granted. I can't wait to see where we go tomorrow!     Happy Mothers Day everyone!! Today I went to the falls at Oregon City. Here I am with Christines daughter Kerstin. We stopped at the Oregon Trail Museum. That is her other daughter Kaitlin with me .They are twins and treated me lovingly. Here is a picture of me and all three of her daughters. I am on Katies head barely visible. The museum is shaped like big covered wagons...way cool. We had just come from a family get together with the in laws. Randys brother grilled up some great elk steaks so i couldn't help posing on top of the Elk statue. After the long day I just relaxed and took some time to smell the flowers. Tomorrow I am off to Mollys in Washington, Christine did say she wanted to stop on the way to the Post Office at some place called Mr.Peeps. Hmmmmm...wonder what that could be??      Molly drove down from Whidbey Island, Washington to hang with vacationing Dawn and I, and attend the doll show with us. Not much in the way of Dawns but fun was had by all. Can you find Dawn amidst all those B*****s? Molly brought me a nice bottle of wine, I think Dawn and I will share it tonight. Party on!!!!! Christine

 Hi All! Molly here on Whidbey Island in Freeland, Washington! Dawn arrived safely and here she is resting on bed with the girls when she arrived her first night. She asked HTT Angie if she could borrow her groovy Knitty Midi, since she was unaware of how casual Whidbey Island is.  Pippa Marie happily agreed to give Dawn some of the finer points to dressage. They spent hours on the horses, and Dawn was very saddle sore the next day. She sure did love it though!    Try as she could, Dawn just couldn't relate to the old dolls hanging out at Molly's moms house.  Ellie happily showed Dawn some of the sights in the groovy town of Langley, Washington.  Dawn enjoyed the view from a lookout spot on Langley's main street.  Dawn loved the local artist, Georgia Gerber's sculpture titled "Boy with Dog", (not Dawn, of course!) also on the main street in Langley.  Ellie & Dawn in Langley.  Dawn and the girls relax in Molly's garden - very Zen.  Since Dawn never made it to Seattle, she was satisfied hanging with the girls and pretending to be there! All good things must come to an end, so Dawn and I celebrated her Island visit with fabulous Martini's. Actually, sigh, my last martini. :{ Sniff.
