These are Dawn's souvineers that were taken out at her halfway point. The postage was really getting up there! There are keychains, magnets, a little silver bell, pocketbook, bottle of coal, barking dog pin, a ringing pay phone, a tee-shirt, some really beautiful mini's, seashells, jewelry, and lots of great postcards! Thanks everybody! You guys are the best! Dawn will never forget this vacation!

Dawn went on a wild shopping spree with Deborah in California! Dawn says "Thanks everyone for making my trip so special!"
Then Dawn headed out to Oregon and Washington states, back again across the country to Staten Island, NY, then down to Absecon, NJ.

Well, this is where you would expect to find July & August's vacation right? Well, she was on vacation in July & August, but due to numerous mailing delays by the time she got to Melanie's in British Columbia, Canada it was already the last week in August. So the best laid plans of mice and men... but here they are in September, Melanie, Denise, Carol and Judy's stories!

"Hi Everyone! It's me Dawn!
I am back from my vacation visiting all my Dawnette friends. What a fantastic time I had! My trip spanned 9 months, 4 countries and 25 of the coolest Dawnettes in the world!
So many memories...gosh! Where to begin?
It was so cool being in the newspaper with Teresa, scary being in a Nor'easter with Babs! Hey Molly, I miss our "martini night"! Shelley's blow-out party had the CT police showing up with noise complaints LOL! I can't forget the beautiful pacific with Carie and my shopping binge with Deb! (You have the best taste hon!) Bad times were being stuck in that hot, little box in Post office purgatory! Denise you rock living next to my FAV mall in the world in Canada! Visiting England, Julianne and meeting all the Pippa gals was SO much fun! They are the best! Oh, so many good times! I can't possibly list them all here, but you gals know you'll always be special in my heart!
I am SO tired, I need a good long rest on my sofa phone lounge before I start to unpack and then go take all my clothes back from Glori who was picking though
my closet while I was away! What nerve eh?
Thank you all SO much for the vacation of a lifetime!

PS. The girls from the other side of the "pond" in the Pippa NG are planning a "Round the World Pippa" to spread peace and love in 2002, hopefully I'll get to see my old friend again soon! I'll keep ya posted!"
