If you came this far, you must be interested in knowing more about me. If you read the newsgroup,
then you know that I am often complaining about being locked out of the Towers. I pay my rent on
time and the Super is just ...... Super! Seems the Towers has a thing for my ISP or just mine alone since others on the same ISP have no problems.
So many times I find myself without keys and sitting outside the Towers on the now popular Park Bench. I have made this spot very famous, all kinds of movie stars and celeberities stop by now and then.
Who is Glori Lori?
Hi! Thanks for checking out my apartment at Topper Towers. Right now you're on my main apartment page. Be sure to check all the links to get the most of your experience here. :)
Who am I ? Hmmmm.... Here's a story about a lovely lady.. she was raising three girls with blonde hair.... OOOPSSS! nope that's not me!! Don't mind that... I watched alot of TV growing up.
My name is Lori and I took the name of Glori Lori to be known here in the Dawn community. Since this will probably be here forever... let me state that I'm typing this in June of 2000 and I'm 33 yrs. How's that for being time stamped and preserved!
I'm married to a great guy named Tom. I have a cute pekeingnese named Genie.
I wear a few different hats lately. In the real world I'm a self employed mortgage processor. I work from home and that makes it easy to feed my online addiction. Online is where I found Dawn olls again. Ebay of course.. and the many sights and then made my way to the newsgroup.
My claim to fame in the Dawn community .... I'm the proud editor of a monthly online Dawn magazine. Dawn Digest Magazine aka DDM has only been around since April 2000, but it has already made an impact. Check out my link to my DDM page.
I also get credited with pushing the first Dawn convention to go through. I usually get embarrassed when I over hear this, but I am also proud of this fact.
My life online isn't all Dawn... ::GASPS:: i know... isn't that a shame?
I am a roleplayer online (character acting via typing)this is something I've been doing for about 4 years now. My main character for the longest time was a vampiress named Morra. You can vist a link to her page as well on the left.
I also work for AOL as a community leader on message boards in the roleplay community. Another task I undertake is writing an article for an "I dream of Jeannie" online magazine.
Uhoh.. now don't think I'm chained to my chair.. Uhmmm... well sometimes it does feel like it.
My husband and I also serve on a few commities
within our church. It is a landmark and almost 230 years old. Currently I'm on the restoration commity and our next project will be working on a web page for the church. ackkk back to the chair! :)
