Thursday 9/28 - Angie, Michelle and I set off to drive to Buffalo for the convention. We got lost for the first hour in Elizabeth New Jersey because as I said "the directions were bizarre". Well, you would have thought what I said! Michelle and Angie needed to remind me all weekend of BIZARRE things. Then while we were half way there I passeda sign that said "scenic overlook". I knew we wouldn't be stopping to look at a view but I got a glance.... the first words out of my mouth were " Ohh look at that breath taking view". Again... the girls were amused by my words. I was tortured over and over with the words. On friday after a trip to the local mall and kmart. (we needed some supplies LOL) I drove the girls and Babs over to Canada. Michelle and Angie had never seen the falls and I said we had to go since we were so close. We didn't go on the boat trip but we did take a few pictures and go for an early dinner. Can you see the rainbow in the first picture?
Lori, Angie, Michelle..... Babs? - She's taking the picture.
Janet's winning entry in the Scenerio contest.
Showing the Topper Toys Factory the way we truly believe it was. I hope the pictures are close
enough to see the details that Janet put into this
project.
The Centaurs I made for my contest entry.
2nd from left is Janet's Dale that won the fashion contest. The fourth doll is Babs' lashless Dinah that I spent the whole weekend drooling over. ::sighs::
My entry in the Fabric n Trim contest. Angie was my partner and made the cape. I have to thank Melanie for putting this contest together. It was the first time i ever made something so pretty for my dolls. The fabric was a challenge since it frayed but everyone's creations were so stunning. Sadly I didn't take pictures of everyone's gowns since I was busy running around. I hope they will all post pictures of theirs.
